A Full Moon in Leo (Wednesday) brings an energy of self-expression, creativity, and recognition. Leo, ruled by the Sun, is associated with the heart, drama, playfulness, and the desire to shine. When the Full Moon occurs in Leo, it highlights themes of personal authenticity and the need for recognition, both from yourself and others.

On the flip side, this Full Moon also challenges you to consider the balance between ego and heart. It’s a time to reflect on whether you are seeking validation for the right reasons, or if there’s a tendency to lean too much on external approval to feel worthy. Leo’s energy calls for authentic pride—celebrating yourself not for the applause, but for the truth of who you are.

Additionally, the Full Moon in Leo can bring to the surface emotional revelations related to your self-worth, desires for love, and recognition. You may realize what you truly need in terms of affection, admiration, and creative outlets.

This Full Moon often prompts a dramatic release—letting go of anything or anyone that dims your light or doesn’t honor your uniqueness. By the end of the lunar cycle, you might find that you’ve reclaimed a sense of personal power and confidence, ready to share your best self with the world.

In short, a Full Moon in Leo is an invitation to embrace your creativity, honor your self-worth, and shine in your own unique way.

The Queen of Pentacles shows up this week as an additional reminder to that authenticity. She is a more grounded, independent version of The Empress, focusing on self-sufficiency, stability, and nurturing. She reminds us that nurturing ourselves and others creates long-term abundance.

She teaches that success comes not just from ambition but from patience, love, and the careful tending of what we value most.

This week is about our ability to heal others through our own struggles.

We all have areas of our life where we feel hurt or inadequate. Often having repeating life lessons or challenges in areas that keep resurfacing, making us feel stuck or held back. They continue to do so until we can address and integrate whatever lessons it is that allows us to choose and behave differently.

Personal growth involves the process of turning pain into wisdom, but what about our ability to heal others through our own struggles?

Our ability to help others through our lived experience brings wisdom, empathy, and understanding in ways that theory or detached advice has no ability to. When we go through pain, challenges, or deep transformation, we develop insights, emotional depth, and resilience that allow us to guide others in ways that create genuine deep connection between people. Community and support.

When we openly share our struggles, others who are experiencing the same pain feel seen, validated, and less alone. Sometimes, the most powerful way to help others is simply by being vulnerable enough to show living proof that they are not alone in their troubles and healing from them is possible. When people see someone who has transformed pain into strength, it inspires them to do the same.

Ironically, when we help others heal, we also further heal ourselves. Every time we offer kindness, understanding, or encouragement to someone else, we reinforce those messages within our own subconscious about ourselves.

It’s been a long road to get back here, but being at my 11th house North Node return by 1 degree, and divine timing being everything, here I am – back for the long haul. I say this especially because for everyone this week, it’s all about trusting the process, locking onto what you want, and realizing you already have everything you need to create what you want.

Whatever house (in your birth chart) the New Moon in Gemini on June 6th occurred in, is the area of your life that you can light up throughout this moon cycle through engagement. Gemini is not just a communicator – but a curator. Taking a pinch of this, a dash of that – knowing how to collect the most useful, interesting, entertaining, and fascinating bits of any information or experience, then piecing them together into a creation that is simply unique and captivating.

The King of Pentacles is all about recognizing and seizing opportunity – taking advantage of resources already available to him to create further abundance and stability. Abundance is not just about money or even love – but truly understanding that at any given moment you have everything necessary to succeed available to you – you just need to recognize what those resources are and use them appropriately. Sometimes that just takes a little creative, outside the box type of thinking. This is that New Moon in Gemini energy.

The week up ahead includes what can either manifest as power struggles and obstacles (low vibration) or the kind of drive and motivation that moves mountains (high vibration). Falling into self-doubt and limiting beliefs (low) or formulating concrete, disciplined plans that steadily move us towards success (high). Insecurities about our own value and self-image, as well as the dissipation of inspiration into confusion and hopelessness (low) or a strong sense of interconnectedness and inspiration that allows the beauty and wonder of life to move through us and help us get closer to what we value most (high).

Take time this week to recognize what resources are available to you that you’ve either yet to realize, or have taken for granted – and then sn**ch those bxtches up and put them to work. You’re in the driver’s seat. This is your life. This new moon in Gemini wants to show you what happens when you start calling the shots and running the show to put together the stories that you want to be a part of and live out.

This week begins with an intense start as we’re likely to face dynamics that either involve us seeking power we feel unable to obtain or are being given power that we don’t know how to properly wield. The key to alleviating this dilemma is to acknowledge and understand our limits instead of trying to circumvent them.

Move within yourself when you’re unable to proceed through the line drawn in front of you.

If you find yourself feeling burnt out or on edge this week, then you may need to let go of something you’ve become overly attached to. Take the time to slow down, really be in your body, and then ask yourself what it /really/ is that you’re after – the thing that’s behind the thing that you think you want.

- - -

Ask yourself what core motivation lies behind the specific circumstance which you’ve become bent on obtaining it from. Once you realize that, you can choose to seek an alternate circumstance that can yield similar results. There’s never just one answer to your problems.

If you find yourself in battles with others as Mars switches signs this week, also make sure you ask yourself what the end goal is. You don’t want to get sucked into something that doesn’t serve you just because you lost sight of the bigger picture to the immediate urge to “win”.

Pulling the 5 of Swords this week indicates that fighting unnecessary fights is a loss for all involved. Particularly when “winning” comes from using underhanded or manipulative tactics, since these merely prolong the inevitable. Being shortsighted can ensure you suffer great losses in the future.

Mars entering Virgo on Monday can give a renewed sense of productivity and focus. Mars here is analytical, service oriented, diligent, grounded, willing to put in the extra effort to do things right, and wants to understand things from the inside out.

Mercury entering Leo on Tuesday knows how to put on an engaging performance that pulls others in. It knows how to capture attention because it speaks from the heart, communicates with confidence and authority, and has very strong intellectual capabilities.

Together, these transits can offer many opportunities to gain forward momentum in the areas of your chart they fall in. A harsh opposition with Pluto means that severe challenges are guaranteed, but whether they’re to your benefit or detriment is entirely up to you.

DAILY DOSE

Capricorn is the only true chimerical being of the zodiac and lives under Dionysian rules.
Mushroom tip— Oc*****sy bottom. The cornucopia is both ph***ic horn and receptive vessel. Depths and heights. Whale-wolf, mer-goat, a scary scary “monster”.
If you think Capricorn is all business you just weren’t invited to the underground “after hours” party.
Earth signs rule our sexuality and if you thought Virgo was the revolution— that was just a drop in the bucket. Here comes the ocean… and beware it will be full tsunami style— right in your face.
It is the things we care about most that crush us.
This anaretic 29th degree of Capricorn is hyper yin and particularly grueling because it’s peak stress, that last push of labor— the “hurt so good” kind of ache that makes us feel alive. And that’s where the kore-kali-maiden-mother-crone god we call Pluto retreated to Saturday night.
Capricorn doesn’t want easy— it wants rock hard and long, and slow, and deep.
Capricorn aka Saturna’s Queendom brings a relentless energetic, like Florence and the Machine sings, “All I want is everything from you and what is left after that too”. It is the apex of the natural zodiacal wheel — begging us to climax. We feel the building tension here propelling us to reach our ultimate potential and know what it means to feel fulfilled. This is the degree where a FIRM foundation must be present in order to generate enough gravitational force for lift off. This critical nature is exactly what is needed to ensure everything is well oiled (lubed up) and in good working order—because the destination is out of this world (Aquarius).

So what does it mean to come back and land gracefully?
What have we learned from our first peek into the seminal waters of space?
What tweaks are needed now to survive our next try?
Pluto will return to this degree again on September 2, 2024 and station direct Oct 12, leaving it for good (at least in this lifetime) on November 19, 2024.
What radical embodiment still cries out for our understanding before we try to call ourselves “genius” and fly higher than we thought any earthly wings would carry us?
