Active Care Center Active Care Center specializes in the treatment of musculoskeletal problems and management of various non-injury related chronic illnesses.

Active Care Center was founded by Dr. Albert Pawlusiewicz - a licensed, board certified Chiropractic Physician, with specialty Diplomat degree in Clinical Orthopedics. He was voted "Top Chiropractor" by Consumers' Research Council of America. Dr. Pawlusiewicz completed his undergraduate studies at Loyola University Chicago with a degree in psychology, cm laude. After enrolling at the National University of Health Sciences, College of Chiropractic, he earned a degree in human biology, and a doctorate degree in Chiropractic Medicine. In ACTIVE CARE CENTER we focus on precisely matching your condition with the best treatment. The treatment may be just one modality or one type of adjustment, as well as a group of treatments. The treatment may focus on nutritional changes and acupuncture, or progression to physical therapy exercises, core strengthening and dynamic gait training. The combinations and approaches are many. With great pleasure, we would like to introduce Dr. Janusz Golec, MD, who will be joining our team to provide primary care services to adults. Dr. Golec has over 40 years of medical experience. He graduated from Jagiellonian University Medical College and the University of Illinois and has attending rights at Resurrection Medical Center. In addition to his regular practice in Chicago, he will offer “by-appointment-only” hours at our clinic, providing medical services to our patients starting mid-January. He accepts Aetna PPO, BCBS PPO, and Medicare insurance plans.
(On a personal note, he enjoys spending time with his two granddaughters, two grandsons and his three small dogs—Kubus, Jasiu, and Maksiu.)
