Formed in 2014 as a response to the growing need for on-scene medical support for wildland firefighters. After several severe fire seasons in northern California, the Mountain Medics team decided to devote themselves to more creative healthcare delivery methods than can be traditionally found in hospital settings. We are proudly based out of Dunsmuir, California, on the edge of the wildland-urban interface.
