We are hiring EMTs, Paramedics, and RNs for the upcoming fire season and are seeking highly capable professionals with advanced technical rescue experience. Ideal candidates will have proven skills in rope rescue, confined space operations, swiftwater rescue, and able to drive in extreme terrain—all essential for the challenging environments and emergency situations our teams respond to.

Our Story

Mountain Medics Inc. is the most innovative wilderness and mobile medicine company in the USA. It is owned and operated by experienced emergency department personnel with wilderness credentials.

Formed in 2014 as a response to the growing need for on-scene medical support for wildland firefighters. After several severe fire seasons in northern California, the Mountain Medics team decided to devote themselves to more creative healthcare delivery methods than can be traditionally found in hospital settings. We are proudly based out of Dunsmuir, California, on the edge of the wildland-urban interface.
