🎊 February marks Black History Month!
Black history month is more than remembering the past. It's about honoring the strength, resilience, knowledge, and collective healing that lives on through every generation. Many of the stories, struggles, and triumphs carried by black communities and powerful influences continue to shape how we experience the world today. People such as Rosa Parks, or Martin Luther King Jr. are some of the more widely known, but there are people similar in every direction you look when it comes to black history!
More than that, we can appreciate an educational moment to discuss how this all invites us to look at how intergenerational pain, survival, and resilience are passed down. The experiences we feel don't always belong to us, but we carry them through generations. When we name what was endured by our heritage, culture, or bloodline, we can also honor the courage and create space for rest, growth, and emotional freedom.
This month, we celebrate Black voices, Black stories, and Black excellence, for everything that it is. Let's honor the legacies, together ❤️
