I spoke about crystal energy at our Crystal Terrarium workshop on Saturday, and I surprised myself with how nervous I became. Reflecting on it, I think it was because I put myself in a vulnerable position. I am proud of that! We're giving ourselves grace in this season of doing new things. Regardless, I thought I would record my thoughts to share with those who didn't hear them Saturday... or RE-share for those who did hear it Saturday but didn't understand me!

It's almost workshop time! ✨️ Ticket holders, we are looking forward to hosting you! Please feel free to come between 4 and 7. We will have our crystal discussion first, followed by some housekeeping points for the evening, and then CRAFTING!

One of the greatest joys of our business is hearing our customers say, "I love crystals but.. I just don't really understand how they work." We hear it a lot and we love it because we love to educate. So guess what! Before we kick off tomorrow night's fun, we are going to teach just a bit about the science behind crystal energy. And yes, E = mc² makes an appearance.

Hey, Mistress Ono's family! It's Sara. ✨️

I am in the apothecary today restocking one of my most beautiful tisanes! "Boost" hosts such a beautiful color pallet with the warm reds of the hibiscus flower and rose hips, buttery brown of the astragalus root (which I think look like little fairy wood chips), and the cool green of the raspberry leaf. But she doesn't just look pretty... she is a powerhouse tincture for your immune system and stress management.

For those who don't know, I work in Occupational Health and Safety at Dot Foods through the week and while I typically pop into the store on my lunch breaks, I have been away on a week-long work trip. Nothing helps me get back into routine like getting my hands on some herbs. 😍🌿 We are open on this snowy, frigid day until 1!

For friends, new and old, here is our building. We took some pics to help you find us better! These are taken from across the street of us. We are directly across the former Napa Auto Parts store if you’re familiar with the area.

If you are driving down the highway from Camp Point/Quincy direction aka East towards Mount Sterling then we are on the left hand side. If you are leaving Mount Sterling heading West, then we are on the right. Look for the water tower and then the green and cream colored shop building beneath it. We have two parking lots on each side of the building. Follow either sidewalk on the front of the building until you see our banner/awning. You will see a, “This Must Be The Place” neon sign in our window and be met by some of the best smells to exist.

We know the church’s sign being directly in front of our door is confusing. We hear yall, trust us 😅 As you can see our banner has bravely fought the wind and snow (and mostly won). While we work and save for a better signage solution the best thing you can do to help is to spread the word. Google reviews help so much and are always appreciated. Word of mouth has also brought so many people wonderful people to us as well.

Thank you for your help and continued support so far. It means so much. We hope to see our new friends from Quincy’s metaphysical event last weekend 🖤🔮🩷
