Looking to get a friend or loved one the help they need?

You can file a Casey's law petition (700A Form) at the Circuit Court Clerk's office in the county in which the person needing treatment resides. The person for whom you file for treatment must be 18 years or older.

The petition will be reviewed by a judge to determine probable cause. Afterwards, the judge will order two evaluations to be conducted by health professionals and set a court date to determine if treatment will be ordered based on the evaluations.
