🎶 These boots were made for walking. 🎶 While prepping for the new hens, I took a step off the poultry mobile and right into a low spot in the field. So for the next few weeks all farm chores include this snazzy walking boot and a bag to make it waterproof. 218 turkeys are in the freezer, more to come!

New egg layers have arrived! They are in the field learning to use their coop at night, and joining the rhythm of our farm. Our “old” ladies are still here doing their thing. And we should be back to having eggs in stock in a few weeks. They will be small at first. But this is really good news if you have been waiting for eggs 🍳 💚

Happy first turkey day of the season!
We had great weather this morning for an easy day. Chef Matt came out to help us, and the team was in a silly mood 👻

For us, Pasture Raised Turkey isn’t just a label. Our animals live on pasture full time. It’s a partnership that benefits both the animal and the pasture.

When we say ‘this is some good turkey,’ we don’t just mean the flavor on your plate. We mean it was raised with respect, in a way that’s good for the bird, good for the environment, and good for our family’s ability to continue to farm for our community. But we hope it’s also the BEST turkey you’ve ever tasted too!

Our curious piggies are raised in the forest where they can root around for bugs, nuts, roots, and weeds. They enjoy lazy days but also sometimes get the zoomies! We regularly move them to fresh spots and the make the forest floor a better place by cleaning it up. They are very happy pigs with this cooler weather moving through!
