Our office will be closed tomorrow for the safety of our patients and staff. We will be monitoring intermittently from our home any refills you may need. You can contact the pharmacy and have them send us a request or use your portal to let us know. If you need us for anything you can also call our answering service at 812-471-7440 to get hold of us. If it’s an emergency please go to the emergency room of your choice. Everyone please stay safe. Stay home if you can.

Due to the incoming winter weather and dangerously cold temperatures, an Emergency Warming Shelter is being opened this SATURDAY at the Mt. Vernon Fire Department "Meeting Room" Located at 311 College Ave.

This is to provide a safe, warm place for anyone in need. The shelter will offer protection from the cold and a place to warm up during this winter event. We only ask that if you are planning on staying for a duration of time, please bring your Personnel Necessities. And the shelter will be open as needed during this Storm. If you have any questions please call 812-838-3447 and we will assist you as we can.

Everyone is always asking about our farm animals and we caught one getting ready for the new year! Reggie, our emu, has a weakness for hats that are actually on point and a knack for rocking glasses like a pro. There is no ai involved in this, just many attempts trying to keep the glasses on long enough for a picture Here’s to a new year filled with good health, happiness and less prior authorizations. Well 2 out of 3 isnt bad. We know the last won’t happen but I’m fired up and ready for them in 2026! Be safe and have a Happy New Year 🎆. ~. Lisa and Doc

Posey County EMA, Posey County Sheriff's Office and Mount Vernon Police Department announce the launch of Project Lifesaver in Posey County starting January 1, 2026. We are excited and privileged to offer this program to individuals in our community who may be prone to wandering.
