Unfortunately not all damage is repairable on VCT floors. This is a good example of what can be expected when filing cabinets have been moved. Rust and staining from rubber mats rarely ever completely disappear. The improvement is significant! We can almost always get rid of the rough, raised edges from years of buildup and drastically lighten the stains and discoloration.

Look at the difference in color! VCT should have a deep color, as the finish wears down with use, scratches and embedded dirt gradually hide what it is supposed to look like. If your facility is due to be brought back to life give us a call for a free consultation and quote!

NOT OUR WORK!

While I refuse to talk negatively about other companies work I would like to use some I recently observed as an example.

This floor had very recently been refinished (waxed) and unfortunately due to poor prep work there is hair and debris everywhere! The floor is shiny, but it should have been SO much better.

When you call OMS Floors we do our absolute best to prevent these mishaps. Had it been a single hair or spec of debris I would have commented on a job well done. Unfortunately it was very widespread.

Office chairs are torture to VCT floors. They’re very abrasive, collect dirt and proceed to grind it in. It does NOT take long before tile damage and permanent stains take place.

We always recommend that these plastic wheels be replaced with rubber “roller blade” wheels. This simple change has a huge impact on protecting your floors and maintaining a much more appealing facility.
