If Colorectal Cancer is detected early, the survival rate is very high. This is why we are urging people to get tested and offering FREE colorectal screening kits in March.

Kits are available for pickup at the Main Hospital Entrance, 8 AM - 4:30 PM, while supplies last. Kits need to be returned in the dropbox at the Main Entrance Front Desk by April 11.

Knox Community Hospital is planning ahead. Our Board is in the process of exploring potential collaborations with other health systems to help grow and enhance local care and prepare for the future.

Strategic collaborations are not new to KCH. The hospital has long worked with respected health systems to expand services, and this process builds on that history.

At its most recent meeting, the hospital Board voted to continue the evaluation process with a small, select group of organizations. We received strong interest from many organizations, which reflects KCH’s positive reputation, broad services and important role in our region.

The Board will now begin the next phase of review and discussions as part of a careful, responsible planning process. No final decisions have been made.

Because all parties have signed confidentiality agreements, we cannot share names at this time. We will provide updates as they are available.

“Christina treated me like a human being, and I felt comfortable and not ashamed. I appreciated her very much. She rubbed lotion on my feet, and no one has ever done that before. She is a blessing to meet, and I thank God for her.”

Not all headaches are the same. Some originate from nerves, joints, or muscles in the neck. Interventional pain specialists can help identify these sources and offer targeted treatments alongside therapy and lifestyle strategies. A balanced approach focuses on reducing pain while improving daily function — without relying solely on medications.

Call 740.393.9866 today to schedule a consultation about headache treatment options.
