The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey just proved that airports are no longer just places travelers "endure"—they are world-class destinations in their own right.

The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey's airports have broken records yet again

John F. Kennedy International Airport - JFK, Newark Liberty International Airport - EWR, LaGuardia Airport, and New York Stewart International Airport collectively had their busiest year-end holiday travel season ever, with 5.8 million passengers traveling between December 22, 2025 and January 4, 2026.

Record volumes were set during the Thanksgiving, Memorial Day, Labor Day and Presidents Day travel periods of 2025 as well.

The Port Authority is making unprecedented investments in our airports to deliver a world-class customer experience, and to meet the region's demand for air travel.
