Schneider Funeral Home Our goal as a family owned funeral home is to serve your family as we would wish to be served.

Schneider Funeral Home began as Short Funeral Home in 1920 and was owned and operated by Paul Short and his wife, Grace. In 1957, the business was purchased by the Norvell family, Norman and his wife, Peg. Tom Schneider and his wife, Tammy acquired Norvell and Tygart Funeral Homes in 2001. Staff Members of Schneider Funeral Home are caring and experienced professionals who understand that each family is unique and has personal requests and traditions. These requests and traditions are of utmost importance to our staff of licensed funereal directors and licensed family service providers.
