Severe winter weather is expected, and travel will be extremely dangerous during this time. * WHAT...Blizzard conditions possible. Total snow accumulations
between 4 and 8 inches possible. Winds could gust as high as 60
mph.
* WHERE...Portions of east central, northeast, and southeast Iowa.
* WHEN...From 4 PM Sunday to 1 PM CDT Monday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions
could impact the Monday morning and evening commutes. Strong winds
could cause tree damage.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Travel should be restricted to emergencies only. If you must travel,
have a winter survival kit with you. If you get stranded, stay with
