While we hope Congress restores funding soon, it’s important for our community to know that help is available in Mount Vernon if anyone faces a food gap or emergency:

Provides emergency groceries (2–3 days of food) once per month for Posey County residents. Bring ID and proof of address.

Offers non-perishables, baby supplies (when available), and other emergency assistance.

Provides food and basic-needs help — and may have meal service. Call ahead for current availability.

🙏 First United Methodist Church Pantry
227 E Lincoln Ave • Wednesdays 10 AM – 1 PM
A friendly, smaller church-based pantry open most Wednesdays — call ahead to confirm.

Our call phone quit working. If you are needing urgent medical care please go to the ER or urgent care. For nonurgent medical wuestions please call our office tomorrow anytime starting at 8am. We are working on getting this repaired sorry for the inconvenience.

We are proud to participate once again in Feeding Our Future. We will all be present at the designated locations to provide our youth with lunches Monday-Friday this week.

We are back up and functioning. The storms took out a critical motherboard but this has now been replaced.
