After a great deal of thought and consideration, we have decided to close the doors on Valley Roots as of April 30 and join the fabulous team at Family Care Network’s North Cascade Family Physicians on May 1.
We are so proud of what we built at Valley Roots, but the demands of operating it on our own in such a complex healthcare environment was taking too much energy away from what we love most - caring for our patients. FCN is independent and provider-owned, which we love. They are enthusiastic about this transition and have been very welcoming to our providers and staff, so you'll still see many familiar faces when we go to NCFP.
Please continue to contact Valley Roots for all patient care (appointments, refills, etc.) through April 30. To help both clinics in the transition and streamline communication, we ask that you do not call NCFP prior to May 1.
Important: Family Care Network accepts many of the same insurance plans as Valley Roots, but not all. Please carefully review the letter that was recently mailed to patients for more details; it is also posted on our website (https://valleyrootsfamilycare.com). The letter includes steps patients may need to take prior to May 1 to continue being seen at FCN. If you have questions about whether or not your insurance will be accepted or any other transition-related questions, please call us at 360-428-1884.
