Spero Family Services Providing Hope, Help, and Healing throughout Southern Illinois We have 10 different services including youth homes in Mt.

Spero Family Services is a multi-faceted human services organization that serves local children, youth and families in need, currently in 5 counties, and we are growing! Vernon for kids ages 12-21, a Counseling & Wellness Center, Bright Start Childcare in Mt. Vernon, Parents as teachers, Mental Health Juvenile Justice (MHJJ), a Foster Care program, and more! Although Spero Family Services is a faith-based agency, programs are open and available to anyone fitting the service criteria without discrimination and regardless of faith or denominational background.
