This week, we're shining a spotlight on Sarah! Sarah is a scrub tech on our surgical team. She is a strong voice for the surgical side, a valuable team player, and works hard for the team and our patients. Her positive attitude and upbeat energy make everyone's day a little better. We are truly grateful to have her as part of our AST family! 🌟

"My favorite thing about working at AST is getting to be Dr. Liyanage’s right hand in the OR. I started in the cath lab - handling wires, catheters, balloons, stents, etc. Now, I stand beside Dr. Liyanage, hands-on in open operations, navigating my way through instrument names, mind reading, and bad jokes. For me, it's every lesson, every moment of patience, being trusted to stand beside the surgeon in any operation we do, the friends and family I have acquired within the company, and the quality of care we provide to our patients. There are no words... I will always be thankful for Doc. I am humbled to be part of AST!" - Sarah 🖤
