Basketball standout Reed Sheppard stopped by The Robert Alexander Center to spend time with our team and patients. Known for his strength, discipline, and dedication on the court, Reed shared encouragement and positivity with those who are working every day to build their own kind of strength in recovery.

Recovery takes resilience, courage, and the determination to keep moving forward, qualities that champions understand well.

We’re grateful to Reed for taking the time to visit, connect, and remind everyone here that real strength is about showing up, putting in the work, and never giving up.

Every day she inspires me, makes me laugh or just pulls me through the day in some way... She has overcome her own struggles, and instead of letting them take her out she chose to turn her life around and use it to help others. She's always positive and continues to grow and work on herself.
