🚨 Medicare Update for Our Practice Friends!

We know many small clinics are feeling the pinch of uncertainty right now, so here’s the quick scoop:

CMS has placed a short hold on Medicare claims (usually just 10 business days) while Congress reviews some payment provisions. You can still submit claims—they just won’t pay out until the hold lifts.

Starting October 1, 2025, some of the pandemic-era telehealth flexibilities could expire for non-behavioral visits unless Congress steps in. That means home-based visits and some non-rural services may no longer be covered.

If you’re unsure how this affects your billing, we’ve got your back. Sunrise Services helps small practices stay ahead—so you can keep focusing on your patients, not the paperwork. Please see the attached image outlining the telehealth changes. 💙
