Emalee Jones, M.A., ALC (under the supervision of Heather Parker, M.Ed, LPC-S, NCC) is an Associate Licensed Counselor in Alabama with a Master of Arts in Counseling from Covenant Theological Seminary. She specializes in supporting individuals, couples, and teens navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, divorce, spiritual abuse, faith transitions, body image concerns, and relational challenges.
Drawing from Attachment Theory, DBT, ACT, EMDR, parts work, and somatic approaches, Emalee provides trauma-informed, inclusive care, and her counseling style is warm, empathetic, and collaborative.
Emalee became a counselor because she believes that allowing space for difficult emotions and painful experiences often reveals resilience, honesty, and the beauty of our shared humanity. Emalee finds a deep sense of purpose in sitting with others in those moments, not to fix them, but to bear witness to the courage it takes to feel your way through them.
Outside of counseling, Emalee enjoys a good cup of coffee, being in nature, listening to Taylor Swift, reading, traveling, doing puzzles, and spending time with loved ones, particularly her two kids and their adorably-rambunctious Goldendoodle pup.
