Kate Tinney Albright, LPC

Kate Tinney Albright, LPC Kate Tinney Albright, LPC- I am a private counselor in Mountain Brook, Alabama, specializing in Marriage and Individual counseling services.

I am glad you are taking the first step towards greater mental health by reviewing your choices for therapy. Therapy can be a positive, productive, and deeply satisfying experience. It can give you a chance to address concerns affecting your relationships, spiritual beliefs, and/or your happiness and peace of mind. Therapy may be active and solution-focused, or quiet and reflective. Allow me to assist you with exploring your understanding of yourself and others, and address specific solutions for the struggles experienced across a variety of relationships. Marriage can be tough in the current world of technology and constant distractions. Together we will work on communication issues to strengthen the core of the relationship. It is my goal that our clients/ couples learn the skills to be able to go the distance with their partners for a long, happy life together. Birmingham Anxiety & Trauma Therapy provides counseling services in a safe, nurturing environment where patients feel comfortable talking openly about issues. We desire to empower our clients to live more freely and express themselves more effectively. Our vision as therapists is to contribute to our community by recognizing the diverse strengths of individuals and families.

Mental health is just as important as physical health.
Again, for the people in the back - your mental health matters! Taking time for self-care when you identify heightened stress, emotional discomfort, or even physical signs related directly to your mental wellbeing is the same thing as taking a sick day for a sore throat or fever.
