We are ready!
Not many people realize all the work that goes into creating hands on learning experiences.
Tomorrow is our Sheath Removal class for our ICU and PACU residents.
Project started with a brain storming session, outline of our behavioral outcomes, creating lesson plan and then building the scenarios - making a list of all our needed supplies. We held multiple practice sessions and PRESTO we are ready for class.
Thank you to Tom Hawkins, Sarah Jones, Rhonda Bagwell, and Kelsey Gregory for all the work put into this class.
Here’s a sneak peek…

Huge thank you to ASUMH for the great partnership. This week Baxter Health’s Education Department and ASUMH Paramedic program partnered up to offer a one week scrub camp.
Let’s take a peek and see how well this week went.
The students had an amazing experience and NONE of this would be possible without the heart and dedication of the Education Team’s clinical educators, Baxter Health EMS and ED subject matter experts.
… and then thanks to the ASUMH Health Sciences Dean, Victor Beck, EMS Paramedic instructor, Tasia and her paramedic students.
