Grace Abounds Counseling Grace Abounds is a Christ-centered not-for-profit organization created to provide a variety of Counseling Services to meet the needs of our community.

At Grace Abounds, our long-term goal and greatest desire is to provide a safe and secure place for youth to learn, grow, and thrive in spite of any troubling circumstances they may face. By exposing them to the Gospel of Jesus Christ through meaningful, loving relationships and the truth of scripture, we hope to give them the skills and tools necessary to heal and become a functioning member of society whether it be in a foster home, and adoptive home, or long-term at Grace Abounds. Our greatest aspiration is to reach the hearts of young people who need a safe place and the hope of Jesus Christ to break the cycle of destructive behaviors among families and young people in our community.

Everyone meet our new rescued office cat, Po! Thoughtfully named after a famous panda who was also rescued and adopted. He’s getting acclimated to his surroundings and LOVES attention. And just so everyone knows, the itchy hives on my neck have nothing (absolutely NOTHING 😜) to do with my cat allergy and his favorite hobby of rubbing up on my neck. So thankful to get to carry out our mission of housing the homeless by starting with a sweet furry friend. ☺️

This sweet boy has hovered around our building for weeks now. Skinny, hungry (starving), no collar, and still intact. He finally got more trusting and climbed in my lap then followed me inside after I gave him yet another meal. Now he’s living it up. If this is your baby I don’t want to “rescue/kidnap” him, so please claim him before I pay to get him neutered. I’ll be calling Monday to get him in to be fixed and get vaccines if I don’t hear from you.

Exciting things are underway here at Grace Abounds, and our board is praying through possible avenues for an additional stream of income that could help us move toward our mission of housing teenagers more quickly! Maybe you can help! Do you or someone you know have a building that is sitting empty, and maybe needs a little TLC that could be bought or rented at a below-market rate for commercial purposes? We ARE a nonprofit, and for this to work, we have to have very little up front for rent, etc. in order for it to be profitable. The spaces we've checked that are for rent are not an option, as the rent is simply too high. Teenagers will be in the dunk tank most of the day, but if you’re specifically wanting to dunk Daniel, we wholeheartedly understand and recommend bringing $5 at 5:00! SaTuRdAy!!!! 3:00!! You won’t want to miss this!!!Fall Festival at Grace Abounds!! Yummy food, a silent auction, games, prizes, a petting zoo and horse rides, BoUnCe HoUsEs, and even a chance to dunk a teenager (yuck) in the dunk tank and even a chance to dunk your therapist (you know you’ve thought about it)! So many ways to contribute to a good cause and we can promise a great time!! See you there!!!

About 2 more hours and we’ll be home from our 12 hour round trip to pick up some bounce houses and food for the Fall Festival! Though long, 6-day workweeks are hard, we had conversations about how worth it that it is, and how we see God’s timing and faithfulness through all he is doing at Grace Abounds. We’re so thankful and know this trip will pay off some Saturday when kids and families fill our front yard with laughs and life!
