Meet Melissa Hayes, APRN - Dedicated Expert in Ear, Nose, and Throat Care

Since becoming an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in 2021, Melissa Hayes, APRN, has been an integral part of the Mountain Home ENT & Allergy team. With a passion for patient-centered care and a commitment to clinical excellence, Melissa has earned a reputation for providing compassionate, knowledgeable, and thorough care to patients of all ages.

Melissa is a board-certified Otorhinolaryngology and Head-Neck nurse, a distinction that reflects her specialized expertise in disorders of the ear, nose, throat, and related structures of the head and neck. Her advanced training and certification allow her to evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of ENT conditions - from allergies and sinus infections to hearing loss, throat disorders, and balance concerns.

At Mountain Home ENT & Allergy, Melissa works closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure each patient receives individualized and comprehensive treatment. She takes pride in listening carefully to her patients, explaining conditions in understandable terms, and developing care plans tailored to their unique needs.

Medical Assistant needed for busy practice.
MA responsibilities include assisting healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and safety. Performing routine clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and documenting medical histories. Providing medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling insurance documentation. Maintaining cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment. Supporting patient care by educating patients on treatment plans and follow-up procedures. Assisting with instrument cleaning procedures. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Knowledge of anatomy and physiology is essential for effective patient care.
Experience or familiarity with medical clinic settings is preferred.
Previous experience providing medical administrative support is advantageous.
Ability to multi-task.
Strong background in medical-surgical procedures will be considered an asset.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment focused on patient outcomes.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
