🌿💜 A beautiful morning harvest of Purple Dead Nettle

There’s something special about walking outside in the early hours and gathering medicine straight from the earth. This morning I was able to bring in a fresh harvest of Purple Dead Nettle, one of my favorite early spring herbs.

Many people see this plant and think “weed.”
Herbalists see medicine.

Purple Dead Nettle (Lamium purpureum) is known for its supportive properties:

✨ Antifungal – helpful for skin and topical preparations
✨ Anti-inflammatory – soothing to irritated tissue
✨ Rich in antioxidants
✨ Supportive during seasonal allergies
✨ Traditionally used for wound and skin support

One of the most fascinating things about this plant is when it appears. It grows abundantly right as spring allergy season begins, which is nature’s way of reminding us that the earth often provides exactly what our bodies need.
