In conjunction with UI Elmore County 4H this office helps provide information to the general public about a variety of topics including home horticulture, home vegetable gardening, natural resources, small/large scale agriculture, youth development, community development and more. We're hosting ISDA Pesticide Applicator License (PAL) Re-Certification Seminars next month-Dec. 9th and 16th (both Tuesdays)-at the Elks Lodge in Mountain Home. These will be free to attend and coffee and donuts will be provided! 4 credits are available for each seminar. Please see the posted flyer for more details. No pre-registration is required, but please have your license number with you when you come to the seminar(s)!

University of Idaho Extension is offering a Pasture Management Field Day. There will be a Zoom session with classes from various presenters to kick things off, followed by live pasture tours held in McCall, Cascade, and Emmett. The Zoom portion of the class is free but there is a registration fee for the live tours. Please feel free to contact Canyon Extension Co. office directly to register, or your local Elmore County Extension office can help answer any questions about the Field Day that you may have.
