Combs Family Practice is a busy and patient-focused medical practice dedicated to providing exceptional care. We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team and support both patients and providers in a positive, professional environment.
Responsibilities:
• Greet and check in patients, verify information, and update medical records
• Take patient histories, vital signs, and assist with examinations
• Prepare exam rooms and sterilize instruments
• Administer injections, medications, and immunizations as directed
• Perform basic laboratory tests and handle specimens
• Assist providers with procedures and patient care
• Schedule appointments, manage referrals, and handle patient inquiries
• Ensure compliance with clinic policies, HIPAA, and safety regulations
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or relevant clinical experience preferred
• Certification (CMA/RMA) is a plus
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate, professional, and patient-centered attitude
