Hospice of the Ozarks

Hospice of the Ozarks The only not-for-profit hospice serving Baxter and Marion Counties for over 45 years.

The purpose of hospice is to provide support and care for people in the last phases of an incurable illness so they can live as fully and as comfortably as possible. The hospice concept is oriented toward caring for people rather than curing disease and often represents a more appropriate method of care. Hospice offers the alternatives of remaining at home, being free of pain, and being attended by family and friends.

At Hospice of the Ozarks we feel so blessed to have a fluffy brigade of therapy dogs to visit with patients, families and often with our staff.
Sweet Mishka donned her Halloween butterfly wings to visit the ASU-Mountain Home campus and Care Manor Nursing and Rehab and our Hospice House. She brings love and comfort to so many in the community.

Our dear friends with Soup Sisters Ministry will be holding their annual 'Crazy Bowl Soup Luncheon' this Saturday, October 25th from 11am-1pm at 1304 C.S. Woods Blvd. in Bull Shoals. As part of their ministry, the Soup Sisters provide soup for our patients and families in need and even donated a freezer to Hospice of the Ozarks for storage! Needless to say, we love these ladies and are so thankful for the wonderful work they do for our community!
