He was presented a Heroes with Halos Award by Rachel Gilbert, VP/Chief Nursing Officer; Sarah Edwards, Executive Director, Baxter Health Foundation; Brian Barnett, VP/Physician Enterprise & Business Development; Shalane Lemons; Ashley Duthu; Kalyn Hannaford; Kinley Ludwig; and Lora Stone.

A donor wrote:
"I would like to recognize Dr. George Lawrence because I truly believe he saved my husband Mike’s life. During a routine appointment, he mentioned Mike needed a colonoscopy. Mike brushed it off, but Dr. Lawrence cared enough to take action and reached out to another office to help get it scheduled. That call let to finding cancer early and saving his life. Thank you, Dr. Lawrence, for guiding us toward the colonoscopy – you are our HERO."

There’s no place like home...

At Regional Family Medicine (formerly Kerr Medical Clinic), we have recognized and practiced that principle since the 1960s. That's why we have always strived to be the home for healthcare for our patients – the first place patients go for medical attention.

As healthcare evolves and we adapt to the change, we never lose sight of the fact that taking care of the whole patient is our most important goal. The Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) is the among latest innovations in primary care delivery, designed to make healthcare what it is supposed to be: the medical home that all patients need. In 2017, Regional Family Medicine was recognized as a Level 3 PCMH by the National Center for Quality Assurance -- their highest level of recognition.

Located in Mountain Home, Arkansas, our comprehensive medical clinic serves the healthcare & preventive needs of patients of all ages, from obstetrics and delivery through adult and geriatric care. For our patients' convenience, we provide an in-house lab for blood work, X-rays, ultrasounds and allergy testing, as well as extensive services for women's health, including obstetrics, mammography, hormone replacement therapy, and bone density testing.

While we provide access to the latest healthcare technology, we believe our biggest asset is the personal touch that our staff and providers bring to the care of our patients...the “low-tech, high-touch” aspects of healthcare that are proven to improve the health and wellness of our patients.
