Baxter Health Pain Clinic is accepting new patients at its clinic located at 17 Medical Plaza in Mountain Home.

With a growing team of experienced providers, Baxter Health Pain Clinic offers comprehensive, patient-centered care for individuals living with acute and chronic pain conditions. The clinic’s provider team includes Dr. Ryan Krafft, along with advanced practice providers Kayla Hatch, APRN; Candi Caldwell, APRN; Allison Eckert, APRN; and Alesha Rose, APRN.

Baxter Health Pain Clinic specializes in the evaluation and treatment of a wide range of conditions, including back and neck pain, joint pain, nerve pain, and other chronic pain disorders. Providers work closely with each patient to develop individualized treatment strategies that may include interventional procedures, medication management, and other therapies.

Congratulations to TJ Tyndall, PharmD, on receiving the 2025 Good Catch of the Year Award! 👏

TJ’s Good Catch:

“A patient was admitted with E. coli bacteremia. While reviewing the patient’s discharge medications, TJ noticed the antibiotic prescribed would work to treat the patient’s UTI, but would not likely work for the bacteremia. TJ notified the provider, and the IV antibiotics were updated to the correct medication for the patient. TJ helped prevent a possible readmission for sepsis. Thank you for keeping our patients safe!”

Congratulations to February’s Good Catch of the Month recipient, Jennifer Hawkins, BSN, RN, CIC, Infection Prevention!

Jennifer’s Good Catch:

While performing chart reviews, Jennifer noticed the patient had an increase in stool since admission. She contacted the patient’s nurse to determine whether a C. diff test should be ordered. The provider subsequently ordered the test, and the patient tested positive for an active infection.

Jennifer’s attention to detail ensured the patient received appropriate treatment and helped prevent a potential hospital-acquired C. diff infection.

Baxter Health announces the retirement of Corey Jackson, MD, who has served the Harrison community as a family medicine physician since 2006.

Dr. Jackson began practicing at Premier Family Care in Harrison in 2006, where he provided comprehensive primary care to individuals and families throughout the region. In September 2023, the clinic became Baxter Health Premier Family Clinic.

Over the course of his career in Harrison, Dr. Jackson has been a trusted healthcare provider known for his commitment to patient care and dedication to the community.
