This is "Give to the Max" week. Big Bend Wind/Apex Clean Energy has announced that they will match all funds donated to MLAF up to $1500. What a great way to double your donation to the Foundation!! Consider a gift to support your local Foundation, as we support other non-profits in our community.

The Mountain Lake Area Foundation partnered with the City of Mountain Lake to install the "Misters" in the city park. The grant of $2500 from MLAF helped to get this project ready for operation next Summer.

This young man will be the guest speaker at our annual Mountain Lake Area Foundation fundraising dinner. This fall, the dinner will held on Friday, November 21st at 6:00 PM at the Mountain Lake Alliance Church. Tickets are on sale at Peterson Drug and at Care & Share along with all MLAF board members. Reserve the date now.

Thank to all the golfers, the volunteers, the hole sponsors, the door prize donors, etc. who were involved the Foundation/Chamber Golf Tournament. Schwartz Farms https://www.schwartzfarms.com provided two delicious pork meals. Matt Johnson with https://swyamahagolfcarts.com and Midway Farm Equipment https://www.midwayfarmequip.com offered us two fabulous hole-in-one prizes. The course was in great shape and the weather was beautiful. The funds raised will all be put back into the community. Thanks again to all who attended!
