The board and staff of Good Samaritan Care Clinic extend their deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Dr. Greg Temple. He was a great friend and supporter of GSCC, and in 2006 as a member of GSCC's Advisory Council, was instrumental in establishing GSCC's first dental office. He and his precious wife Cindy volunteered during GSCC's very first dental clinic on January 8, 2007. He continued to volunteer for many years. We are greatly indebted to his years of faithful service, vision, compassion for the underserved, and unwavering support of GSCC.

Dear Community of Good Samaritan Care Clinic,

Many of you have already learned that Good Samaritan Care Clinic (GSCC) in Mtn. View is closing by the end of 2021. It was founded in 2003 by a group of people that saw a need in our community to provide healthcare for those without public or private insurance.
Since it began, it has served patients in more than 36,000 encounters. In 2006, Mrs. Sheri Noble accepted the immense responsibility of clinic administrator. This allowed for the expansion of many clinic services and the full-time attention to the needs
of patients. She was a calming voice on the phone when you were fearful, the assistance you needed in finding a way to pay for medication that was otherwise not affordable, the
explanation of test results so you could understand, the hope in receiving relief from your pain, the voice of prayer for your healing, and the reassurance that someone truly cared and was
there and willing to assist you. She made sure you were not overlooked.

The Board & Trustees of GSCC would like to extend our sincere thanks & appreciation to Dr. Jon Roberts and Mrs. Sheri Noble for their tireless contribution and devotion to the care of our community. The operation of the clinic for over 17 years would not
have been possible without the commitment from countless providers, volunteers and patrons. Your generosity of time, skill and monetary support demonstrated the goodness of many for the benefit of others. We are so very fortunate.

If you wish to leave a thank-you or farewell note for the clinic, Mrs. Sheri Noble or Dr. Roberts during this month of Thanksgiving, you are welcome to send it to GSCC, PO Box 160, Mtn. View, MO 65548.

Sincerely in gratitude,

The Board and Trustees of Good Samaritan Care Clinic

GOOD SAMARITAN CARE CLINIC TO CLOSE BY THE END OF 2021

Following a tremendous history of providing patient assistance in over 36,000 clinical visits, the board of directors of Good Samaritan Care Clinic in Mountain View, MO, made the difficult decision, based upon multiple factors, to close the free health clinic by the end of 2021. Since it was chartered in 2003, the clinic’s primary goal was to improve access to care for hundreds of uninsured, low-income patients in rural, South-Central Missouri by providing free medical and dental services for patients from approximately 30 Missouri and Arkansas counties. Missouri's recent Medicaid expansion should qualify many of GSCC's current patients for insurance coverage through MO HealthNet.

In order to give GSCC’s patients ample opportunity and time to apply for free or low-cost health insurance through MO HealthNet, the clinic will continue to provide medical and dental services, including visits with a medical provider, laboratory testing, prescription refills, diabetic supplies, and a limited number of dental appointments through the middle of November 2021. Current patients are encouraged to contact GSCC at 417-934-6500 to make an appointment or coordinate a copy or transfer of medical/dental records. Good Samaritan Care Clinic is also prepared to provide assistance to patients who need help with or have questions about applying for MO HealthNet.
