Announcing our Fall 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training and Certification led by Nikki

The training this year is a trauma-informed program blending in-person immersion with virtual learning and is divided into three parts:

Part 1: Begins Aug 4th with online coursework with weekly live Zoom sessions

Part 2: In-person immersion week: Sept 13th–20th

Part 3: Zoom, in-person, and structured online coursework with the final in-person weekend session on Oct 16-18

No earthquake here 😉 we’re getting excited for a fun new event here at Crave.

Join Shez and Shai for a Bollywood Dance class filled with vibrant music, expressive movement, and playful choreography inspired by Bollywood films. It’s less about getting the steps “right” and more about letting go, moving your body, and having a great time.

No experience needed, just come as you are. Bring your friends, your significant other, or come solo and connect with the community. Think of it as part class, part social, an easy, joyful way to move, laugh, and share something new together 💃🏻🕺🏻🪩

Meet our featured students/couple: Kimberley and Chris ✨💖

❓ How long have you been practicing yoga together?

🧘 We began practicing yoga together over 25 years ago while we were living in Singapore. Friends invited us to try natural hot yoga in a beautiful, open-air Hindu temple. After those wonderful and sweaty classes, we’d walk across the street for dosas. From the very beginning, yoga has always been something we’ve shared – not just the practice itself, but the experiences around it.

❓ Who inspired who to begin practicing?

🧘 After taking a long break from yoga, Kimberly found her way back to the mat when she discovered Crave. Not long after, I joined. We both fell in love with the serene space Crave provides and welcoming community of other yogis we’ve meet there.

❓ What has been the most rewarding part of practicing yoga together?

🧘 As empty nesters, it’s been ideal to have something meaningful to do together to connect. Practicing together gives us the chance to connect and to witness each other’s growth – both on and off the mat.

❓ What’s been the most surprisingly enjoyable aspect?

🧘 We’ve come to appreciate just how healing yoga can be for both the mind and the body. As we get older, we feel even more grateful for our practice and the way it supports our overall well-being.

❓ What is your favorite class at Crave and why?

🧘 We usually attend weeknight classes since they fit best for our schedules. If we are in the mood to get a nice warm-up and deep stretch, we head to Misha’s class – her savasana is our favorite. When we’re ready for more of a workout, we go to Nikki’s class – she definitely challenges us, but her supportive adjustments and thoughtful touches make it so rewarding! And when we want to really settle into the flow and focus on our breath, Blu’s class is perfect – the time just flies.

Inversions & Arm Balances: A Progressive 2-Part Workshop with Elena Milyukova

Sunday, March 22 & 29 from 2:00 - 4:00pm

For those ready to dive deeper into their practice in a hands-on, challenging, and playful way, this progressive 2-part workshop is ideal. Elena has supported countless students in building strength, confidence, and alignment in headstands and arm balances, and she’ll guide you safely as you explore new possibilities upside down.

Session 1 – Foundations & First Flights
Prepare the wrists, shoulders, and core while learning key alignment for Shoulder Stand and Headstand. You’ll finish with supported Half and Full Handstand at the wall, focusing on stability, strength, and confidence.

Session 2 – Strength, Stability & Expansion
Refine Headstand and Handstand, then explore arm balances like Flying Splits and Eight-Angle Pose. You’ll also be introduced to Forearm Stand and playful arm balance variations to expand your practice and trust in yourself.

Meet our newest teacher to Crave: Nicole

Nicole came to yoga through a deep love of movement, starting with gymnastics and later circus training, where strength, precision, and mastery were the focus. That all shifted during her teacher training, when the practice moved beyond shapes and into breath, awareness, and presence.

In her restorative classes, Nicole guides students through gentle, supported poses designed to release tension, calm the nervous system, and cultivate deep relaxation. She creates space for steady strength, ease, and connection, inviting students to feel the experience rather than chase the form, and to feel at home in their own bodies.

Join us for our bi-monthly Friday evening Sound Bath, these evenings have become incredibly popular, and it’s easy to see why.

Students often leave feeling calmer, more centered, and even sleeping better. Using the soothing vibrations of EarthTones crystal bowls and her melodic vocals, Paitra guides you into a restorative experience where sound and stillness help relax the nervous system, release tension, and invite clarity and balance.

All you need to do is arrive, wear comfy clothes, and make yourself cozy. You’re welcome to bring your favorite blanket and pillow, lie down, and simply let the sound move through you. No experience is needed, just come as you are and enjoy this gentle, nurturing practice.
