A new milestone in magnetic surgery.

We’re proud to announce that Levita’s Magnetic Surgical System (MSS) has received FDA clearance for pediatric patients. Dr. Miguel Guelfand at Cleveland Clinic Children's successfully performed the first pediatric procedure in the United States using Levita’s MARS® System together with the MSS for a pediatric laparoscopic cholecystectomy.

This achievement expands access to magnetic-assisted, minimally invasive surgery for children—reducing trauma, accelerating recovery, and improving quality of life for patients and families.

We’re proud to announce the world’s first AI-guided autonomous surgery with the MARS® platform.

Surgeons at Clínica Las Condes in Santiago, Chile performed the surgery using MARS and an integrated AI-guided autonomous surgical camera, delivering enhanced stability and a clearer, uninterrupted field of vision.

This achievement represents a huge step toward surgical autonomy in patients, redefining how high-volume procedures such as cholecystectomy are performed.

In the first-ever robotic surgery using two distinct systems, Dr. Jeffrey Cadeddu at UT Southwestern Medical Center used Levita's MARS platform and the Intuitive Da Vinci single-port robot for a prostate removal surgery.
