Does this sound familiar?
You spent years of your life kicking your own ass in the gym. Lifting. Lifting heavy. Lifting light. Running. Walking. Climbing ALL the floors on the stair stepper. Eating in a calorie deficit. Eating your body weight in protein. Fasting. Chugging water all day. All for what? Mid-results that never matched the effort you put in? Always inflamed, bloated and sore.; feeling uncomfortable in your clothes.
Here’s the thing. Our bodies are very attuned to our internal environment. When we are:
* stressed
* anxious
* overly-critical
* in survival mode
for long periods of time, these feelings work their way into our physical bodies and remain. Our fascia warps itself to hold that ‘weight’ as it keeps stacking on top of itself. (Continued in comments)
