Our Story

The Feeling Good Institute, with centers in Mountain View, California, Manhattan, New York, and online in many US States and Canada, is dedicated to help therapists provide better therapy for patients through training, certification and treatment in TEAM CBT. Our approach is an evidence-based form of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), developed by psychiatrist David Burns, MD called TEAM-CBT. We started when a group of us, all students of Dr. Burns, graduated from Stanford University programs in psychiatry and behavioral sciences and decided to improve the accessibility of what we’ve learned to the rest of the world. We now offer treatment, training and certification as well as a community for therapists looking for advanced training in CBT.
