Condo is one of those people who shows up, again and again, for TASP.

He even left Telluride a month early this winter for a sailing adventure… and still landed in the top 6 for volunteer hours with 82 hours!

From leading Enabling All 5th grade groups on snow and helping students learn how to work with athletes with cognitive disabilities, to jumping in at events ready to help with whatever’s needed, Condo brings energy, patience, and heart to everything he does.

Currently in Australia, after a dive to see white seahorses, Condo texted us: “TASP brings out the best in everyone and I’m fortunate to be a part of it.”
Safe to say… we feel pretty fortunate too.

In this photo, Condo is leading the cognitive group during an on-snow Enabling All session.

And we can’t give Condo a shoutout without recognizing Steph, too. The two of them are true rock stars in our community 💙

Thank you, Condo (and Steph!), for all that you do. We’re lucky to have you out there with us. Good luck on your world sailing adventures!

The STOKE from the winter season remains high! Meet one of TASP’s favorite volunteer couples: Brent & Ginger Williams. Brent wrapped up the season with an amazing 106 on-snow volunteer hours, and alongside Ginger, the two have become such a valued part of our community.
“We came to volunteer at TASP… but honestly, we’re the ones getting the best ride down the mountain.”

They joined TASP last winter (2024/25), met fellow volunteers through training, and quickly built friendships that have carried all season long—proof that TASP brings together the best people.

The season may be over, but we’re far from done celebrating the people who made it possible. We’ve got plenty more stories, shoutouts, and memories coming your way all off-season.

Happy closing day and start of off season!
Through some very unique conditions in Telluride, this crew showed up every single day ready to make it happen—for our athletes, for each other, and for this community.

Because of this team, this Winter:
600+ lessons were taught
1,000+ service experiences delivered
~1,700 volunteer hours on snow (wow!!)

Every one of those numbers represents moments of growth, confidence, connection, and a whole lot of fun out on the mountain.

As we head into the off-season and start gearing up for summer, we’re not slowing down—we’ll be sharing more of the stories behind these numbers, highlighting our incredible volunteers and athletes.
For now… take a scroll through a few of our favorite moments from the winter.. there were too many and we could only choose 20!

Thank you to everyone who made it happen!

It’s only fitting that this takes us back to 2010 and one of Miracle’s incredible “Ski with Miracle Day” fundraisers.

Earlier this week, we shared that this was Miracle’s first time back on skis in 9 years—and it has us reflecting on just how much she’s given to this community over the years.

Miracle has always loved TASP and wanted to make sure all kids—of all abilities—could experience the same joy she found on the mountain. She saw firsthand how much TASP shows up for local school groups—not just with lessons and equipment, but with the full experience: lunches, celebrations, and creating a space where everyone feels included.

So she decided to give back.

Over the years, Miracle hosted more than five “Ski with Miracle Day” fundraisers, helping ensure those opportunities continued for others.

We’re just so excited to have her back after 9 years—and so grateful for everything she’s done (and continues to do) for this community.

Miracle has been part of TASP since the very beginning—hitting the slopes with us back in 1994, before we were even a nonprofit. 💙

As a longtime local athlete, she didn’t just fall in love with skiing—she wanted others to have that same chance. That’s what led her to start “Ski with Miracle” days, opening the door for more people to experience the mountain.

After 9 years away, Miracle came back for her first lesson 2 weeks ago—and she’s already looking ahead. She can’t wait for next winter and is excited to be skiing again.

As we celebrate 30 years of TASP, Miracle stands as our longest-participating athlete. That kind of connection, commitment, and love for this community is something special. We’re lucky to have her.

We’ll be sharing more of Miracle’s story soon—stay tuned.

A few special moments captured at the Blue Party Fundraiser!

Because of our sponsors—TMVOA, Telski, Emeritus Wine, Alpine Bank, and Socorro—and this incredible community of donors, volunteers, staff, and athletes, this year’s Blue Party was a huge success.

Youth with disabilities are 4.5x less likely to participate in recreational activities than their peers. At the same time, people with disabilities who engage in adaptive recreation are more socially connected, more likely to be employed, and report higher satisfaction with their quality of life and their future. Adaptive recreation changes lives.

That’s why TASP matters.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, gave generously, and believes in sharing the stoke and the healing power of the outdoors.

Meet Alex! Alex joined TASP this winter as a first-year instructor:
“I love winter at TASP because I’m passionate about sharing the joy of sliding on snow with folks who have often been systematically excluded and unsupported in outdoor spaces. Everyone should get to enjoy the mountains.”

What stands out most about Alex is the way he connects his passion to purpose. He understands why this work matters and carries that with him in every lesson, every interaction, and every turn.

A great day on the mountain with our friends from Montrose Rec Center.

We welcomed a group of regional athletes to TASP for a full day of skiing and snowshoeing!
We’re so grateful for partnerships like this that help connect more regional folks to the mountain and expand access to outdoor experiences.
