Vultures and Voyages with Paul! 🌍✈️

This afternoon, Paul whisked us away on a fascinating journey through Southeast Asia, bringing the remote villages of Borneo, Thailand, Indonesia, and more to life! From wildlife tales (yes, even vultures!) to cultural gems, his stories made us feel like seasoned travelers without ever leaving our seats. What an incredible adventure!

Our Wellness Director, Anne, started a small group "Chicken Soup For The Soul" short story reading circle, and it is pure joy! We shared warm laughs, sweet memories, and stories that truly soothe the heart. The perfect blend of comfort and humor to brighten our day. ❤️

Nothing beats hot coffee, good company, and a great start to the day! ☕️ Our Men’s Breakfast Gathering was a big success, filled with laughs, quirky chats, and simple stories. This is the "men only" table (with a hilarious espresso penalty if the rules are broken!). It was lively morning!

Our visit to the Edmonds Historical Museum was a huge success. The amazing stories, artifacts, and local history reminded us that a little rain can't stop true curiosity! A beautiful day for our History Lovers and History Club explorers. 🧠

We had a truly fascinating and educational session with Niki Desautels from Bats Northwest! 🦇 Niki, who is dedicated to protecting these incredible creatures, captivated us with details about different bat species, their unique habitats, and nocturnal routines.

It was an inspiring experience that turned curiosity into appreciation! We can't wait for Niki's new book about bats, due out next year! 💚

We were deeply moved as Navy Veteran Glenn Ledbetter shared his heartfelt "I Stand for the Flag" tribute on the trumpet! 🎺

The room was filled with the sound of freedom, echoing songs from old America and wartime melodies. It was a touching and powerful moment, reminding us all of courage, sacrifice, and the pride we hold for our nation.❤️

A Heartfelt November to Remember! 🇺🇸 Our community held a touching Veterans Day ceremony led by Troop 60 and Pack 76, alongside leaders from the American Legion, MLT Mayor Kyoko Matsumoto-Wright, and MBK Regional Director Yovan Luyt.

We proudly honored our 11 living veterans and their spouses from across the armed forces. The Mayor shared a personal story, the Missing Person Table was presented, and every veteran received a certificate and pin. It was an intimate, family-centered celebration reminding us that we are truly Better Together! ❤️
