As we head into a busy and beautiful spring season, we want to remind everyone of the exciting events happening throughout April and May!

✨ Weekly Lemonade Social
Every Thursday at 2 PM
Fresh lemonade, music, laughter, neighbors, and community connection—everyone is welcome!

🎶 Worship Wednesdays
A special time of faith, fellowship, gospel music, and uplifting conversation with our residents and community.

🎉 Vendor Fair & Community Cookout
May 14–16
Join us for local vendors, live music, great food, fun activities, and a chance to connect with our amazing residents and team!

🌸 Generations in Bloom Garden Project
We are still seeking sponsors and donations to help us create a beautiful outdoor garden space for our residents to enjoy. Sponsorships range from $50–$1,500 and every contribution helps make this vision possible!

🪑 We are also accepting donations of:
Patio furniture, umbrellas, garden décor, flowers, benches, and outdoor items to help bring this space to life.

At Currituck House, we believe outdoor spaces should be just as warm and welcoming as the care inside our walls.

We’re excited to launch our “Sponsor a Garden” initiative—an opportunity for families, local businesses, churches, and community partners to help transform our patios, flower beds, memory garden, and walking paths into beautiful spaces filled with comfort, peace, and joy for our residents.

A sponsored garden can be given in honor of a loved one, in memory of someone special, or simply as a way to give back to the seniors in our community.

From seasonal flowers to full garden spaces, every sponsorship helps create meaningful places where residents can relax, reflect, and enjoy the beauty of each season.

We’re inviting our community to be part of something lasting and beautiful.

Finally Friday at Currituck House 💙✨

What a beautiful week it has been. From our Generations in Bloom event with flower pot painting and planting seeds, to Worship Wednesday filled with gospel music, our weekly Lemonade Social, bingo, porch sunshine, neighbors stopping by, dogs bringing smiles, and so many laughs shared along the way—this week was full of joy and meaningful moments.

It’s the simple things that make the biggest impact: good music, good company, fresh air, and time spent together creating memories that matter.

We are so grateful for our residents, families, staff, and community who help make each day at Currituck House so special. Ending this week with full hearts and looking forward to all the moments next week will bring. 💕

We’ve loved sharing little moments from past porch socials — the smiles, the music, the laughter, and sweet time spent together. We’re excited to do it again and would love to welcome even more friendly faces from our community.

Today we want to show some love to Michelle, our incredible Activity Coordinator at Currituck House. ❤️

Michelle is the heart behind so many of the special moments our residents enjoy each day. From capturing sweet memories on video, to helping bring activities and events to life like Generations in Bloom, Worship Wednesday, and Bingo Bandits hosted by Lynn, she pours so much love, creativity, and joy into all she does.

Her dedication helps create meaningful days filled with laughter, faith, connection, and fun for our residents, families, and team.

Michelle, thank you for all you do to make Currituck House feel like home. We appreciate you more than words can say. ✨

Wednesday at Currituck House was full of simple moments that made for a beautiful day. 💚

We spent time with the community at our Generations in Bloom event and enjoying the sweet memories made with our residents and the children who joined us. At lunch, everyone enjoyed chicken sandwiches, and later we slowed things down for Worship Wednesday with uplifting gospel music filling the day.

Between the laughs, the music, the good food, and the memories being made, it was another meaningful day at Currituck House. These everyday moments are the ones that truly matter. ✨
