Today we’re celebrating Keiko and six incredible years at Peaceful Waters Counseling and Wellness Center. 🎉

From the very beginning, Keiko has brought heart, compassion, and a deep commitment to our community. As our Community Engagement Counselor, she has helped build meaningful connections with local organizations, families, and individuals who need support. Her work goes far beyond the office. She shows up for people, listens well, and helps create spaces where others feel seen and supported.

Keiko is thoughtful, steady, and deeply committed to the mission of caring for our community. Whether she’s collaborating with partners, supporting clients, or helping our team grow, she brings a calm presence and genuine care to everything she does.
We are grateful for the way she serves, the relationships she has helped cultivate, and the difference she continues to make every day.

Happy Birthday, Lisa! 🎉
We’re so grateful to have Lisa Fox as part of the Peaceful Waters team. Even as our newest intern, she has jumped right in and made an impact. Lisa brings a thoughtful presence to the team and has already begun investing in the work we do with clients and families.

We’re especially excited that she will be helping lead our upcoming Navigating Neurodivergence group for teens. Her willingness to step in, learn quickly, and serve others has been a gift to our team.

We’re excited to welcome Jennifer to our team! Jennifer is a licensed counselor with degrees from Mount Holyoke College, Old Dominion University, and Liberty University.

Before entering the mental health field, she served more than 20 years as a Special Agent with the FBI and taught advanced interviewing at Quantico, experiences that shaped her compassionate, trauma-informed approach to counseling.

Jennifer works with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and relationship challenges, with particular insight into the unique needs of first responders and military families.

She is passionate about helping clients build resilience, deepen self-understanding, and create meaningful, lasting change.

Jenn currently accepts the following insurance types: Aetna, Cigna, and Sentara Healthcare.

Her attention to detail, wisdom, and steady leadership behind the scenes help make sure the work we do is done the right way.

But beyond the titles, Lacey brings resilience, deep compassion, and genuine care for the people around her. She shows up every day with a heart to serve, support others, and help our team provide the best care possible.

What a day. 🙌 Kaylee, Josh, and Alyssa had an awesome time representing Peaceful Waters at the Women in Business Conference hosted by Fusion Office Business Centers. We connected with so many inspiring women leaders, learned from incredible speakers, and even got a little hands-on. Josh led two breakout sessions helping business owners film 90-second marketing videos, and by the end of the day we had 21 brand new videos created. Huge shoutout to , .obc , the , and all the vendors and sponsors who made this event possible. This kind of collaboration is what community is all about.

Liz brings a calm, grounded presence into the room. The kind that helps you feel a little more at ease before you even start talking.

Her path into therapy was shaped by real life, not just classrooms. Through community work and supporting people in seasons of grief and struggle, Liz discovered how powerful it is to simply be seen and supported. That experience continues to shape how she shows up for her clients today.

Liz believes our struggles are not personal failures, but understandable responses to what we have lived through. In therapy, she walks alongside adults navigating trauma, anxiety, identity, chronic stress, and major life transitions. Her approach blends trauma informed care with ACT and somatic based practices, helping people move beyond insight alone and toward meaningful, embodied change.

Outside the office, Liz finds grounding in nature, gardening, and getting lost in a good book or podcast. That same warmth, curiosity, and steadiness carries into the therapy room.
