Movement is medicine 💫

After your chiropractic adjustment, what you do next matters just as much as the adjustment itself. Keeping your body gently moving helps reinforce those changes, reduce soreness, and support better posture so you can feel your best longer.

✨ Try this after your visit:
• Take an easy walk
• Do some gentle stretching
• Add simple thoracic (upper back) mobility
• Practice slow breathing and posture resets

Small movements = big benefits 🙌

Keep your body moving — your spine will thank you!

✨ Thoracic Mobility Matters ✨

Mid-back stiffness, tight shoulders, and poor posture are common — especially with long hours at a desk or on devices. Improving thoracic mobility helps your spine move better, reduces tension between the shoulder blades, and supports healthier posture overall.

This series of simple mobility exercises — including Cat-Cow, Thread the Needle, Open Book Stretch, Wall Angels, and Seated Rotations — can help you move easier, breathe better, and feel less restricted throughout your day.

Remember: mobility should feel gentle and controlled, not painful. If you’re unsure where to start or want guidance tailored to your body, we’re here to help.

Schedule an appointment with Dr. Lauren Fleming to learn how chiropractic care and movement together can keep you feeling your best.

💬 Save this post for later and share with someone who could use a little mid-back relief!

What a relaxing way to spend my lunch hour!

Salt therapy (halotherapy) is a natural way to support respiratory health and overall wellness. By breathing in microscopic salt particles, it may help clear airways, reduce inflammation, and support easier breathing.

Many people find relief from allergies, sinus congestion, asthma, and skin conditions —all while relaxing in a calm, spa-like environment.

Sometimes the best wellness support is as simple as taking a deep breath.

If you haven’t checked out Salt and Centered in Mukwonago yet please do! They offer salt therapy sessions, sauna, red light therapy and more!

❤️ Support Your Heart ❤️

Heart health doesn’t have to be complicated — small daily choices make a big difference over time.

This week, focus on TWO simple habits:
✅ Move your body regularly
Aim for 150 minutes of moderate activity each week (walking, biking, swimming) or 75 minutes of vigorous activity. Adding strength training twice a week helps support heart strength and circulation.

🥗 Eat for heart health
Choose colorful fruits and vegetables, lean proteins, whole grains, and healthy fats like olive oil, avocado, and nuts. Try to limit processed foods, excess sugar, and high-sodium options.

A simple rule to remember: real food > processed food.

👇 What’s one thing you’re doing this week to support your heart — movement or nutrition?

❤️ How are you supporting your heart this week? ❤️

Your heart health is influenced by more than just diet and exercise — stress and sleep play a huge role too.

Try adding ONE of these heart-supporting habits this week:
✨ Deep breathing
✨ Meditation or prayer
✨ Gentle stretching or yoga
✨ Time in nature
✨ Prioritizing 7–9 hours of quality sleep

Small changes add up to big results over time.

👇 Tell us in the comments — which one are you focusing on this week?

🫀 What nerves support your heart? 🫀

Your heart is guided by your autonomic nervous system—working behind the scenes to balance “fight or flight” and “rest and digest.” When your spine and nervous system are functioning well, your body can better regulate heart rate, stress response, and overall wellness.

From the upper thoracic spine to the vagus nerve in the neck, alignment and mobility matter more than you might think. A healthy spine helps support a healthy heart. 💗
