Sooner Medical Waste Management, located in Muldrow, is looking for a driver/machine operator, 40+/- hours per week. This is 1st shift position.
* Must be at least 21
* Must pass background check
* Must pass drug test
* Position requires extensive driving, lifting, walking, bending, and pushing
* Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds and push and/or pull carts weighting as much as 300 pounds
* Demonstrates strong communication skills
* Knowledge of basic computer skills
* Ability to complete a task after being trained
* Ability to operate a powered industrial truck, e.g. Forklift
Job Activities:
* Driving
* Load/Unload waste to/from vehicles
* Inspect containers and stacks for loading onto assigned vehicle
* Assists in other area of the plant operation as directed

A moratorium on new grower, dispensary and processor licenses begins Aug. 1 -- but current licensees are not affected.

Governor Kevin Stitt signed House Bill 3208 on Thursday, which puts the moratorium in place. It will end on Aug. 1, 2024, or earlier if OMMA's Executive Director determines all pending license reviews, inspections or investigations are complete.

All current grower, dispensary and processor licensees, and anyone whose application for a new license is submitted by 11:59 p.m. Aug. 1, will still be able to apply to renew their license during the moratorium.
