Hi Muleshoe family! 🤠

The Muleshoe Area Medical Center is looking for a volunteer to assist at our Nursing Station. If you’ve got a heart for helping others and want to support our local rural healthcare, we’d love to have you.

Our nurses stay busy taking care of our community, and this role is all about being that extra set of hands to keep things running smooth. You won’t be doing medical procedures, but you’ll be making a world of difference for our patients and staff.

What you’ll be doing:
Being a welcoming face for families and visitors.
Answering call lights and letting the nurses know what patients need.
Delivering water, blankets, flowers, or just a bit of comfort.
Helping with light clerical work and keeping the nursing station organized.

Benefits of volunteering:
Opportunity to support patient care in a rural healthcare setting.
Gain exposure to hospital operations and healthcare careers.
Personal fulfillment through community service.
Volunteer recognition and training opportunities.

We need someone who are reliable, professional, and can keep things confidential. You’ll need to pass a background check and basic screenings, and be able to potentially be on your feet for an extended amount of time.

Welcome Home, Betty Meador! 🏡💙

We are overjoyed to announce that Betty Meador has returned to Park View Nursing Care Center as our new Director of Nursing!

Betty’s journey with us is truly a full circle. She initally was employed at Park View as a CNA while in nursing school. Since then, she’s served as an LVN and an RN, eventually leading clinical teams across the region.

After thinking she was ready for retirement, a "neon sign" moment during her morning prayers told her it was time to come back to the place it all began. With 23 years of experience and a deep family legacy of nursing, Betty brings a "hands-on" heart and a neighbor’s soul to our residents.

Welcome back Betty!

🌟 Meet Park View Nursing Care Center’s New Administrator: Alice Gonzalez! 🌟
We are so excited to officially introduce the new administrator of the Park View Nursing Care Center, Alice Gonzalez!
Alice joined us as our Administrator this past January, and she’s already making a wonderful impact. Alice brings 15 years of healthcare experience to our team, including a decade in HR and five years as an Administrator in Lamesa and Clovis.
Why Park View? 🙏 For Alice, it’s about more than just a job; it’s about values. "The thing that caught my attention is that it is a Christian-based company," Alice shared. "That actually was nice to hear. That’s what intrigued me to apply."
Rooted in Family & Community 🏡 When she isn’t at the center, Alice is a proud mother of four and grandmother of three. She has quickly fallen in love with the Muleshoe spirit, noting, "The Muleshoe community has been great. Most of the interactions I've had is with the senior citizens and the hospital."
Alice is dedicated to navigating the challenges of healthcare, like building a strong, local staffing team, with heart and transparency. She is here to ensure your loved ones receive the compassionate, high-quality care they deserve.
👋 Help us give her a warm Muleshoe welcome! Drop a comment below to say hello.
