It's Long-term Care Administrator's Week, and our team had a bit of fun decorating Angelica's office! A few extra sticky notes (just in case), a pop of color for Spring, some reorganization (because we know she likes her office just right), and a bit of caution tape (because her team is a little too much fun sometimes)! In all reality, Angelica brings a lot to the table at Villa Maria and we are excited for the opportunity to say thank you!

Jennifer McBath has been selected as Villa Maria's February Employee of the Month! Jennifer has been a cook with us for one year. She is very dependable, enjoys learning new things, and takes great pride in the meals she prepares for our residents.

When not at work, Jennifer loves spending time with her grandchildren. ❤️

Yesterday, we celebrated Shrove Tuesday "Fat Tuesday," signifying the end of Mardi Gras, in preparation for the beginning of Lent (which starts today)! Our residents and staff at Maria Court and Villa Maria enjoyed snacks, played games and sported their purple, green and gold colors to celebrate. 💜💚💛

Our residents and staff felt all of the love this Valentine's Day at Villa Maria and Maria Court!

A HUGE shout out to Dillons stores in Mulvane and Derby for the rose donations, they are beautiful! Thank you so much to the St. Michael's Altar Society for the beautiful hand-made cards, to the ladies from the United Methodist Church for the fun and festive hand-made door hangers, to Interim for the live music and sweet treats, and to our Activities departments for all of the fun things that you bring into our resident's lives (including chocolate)!
