Hunter Lenox is a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) who has been with us since March of last year. She has excellent attendance and consistently demonstrates a strong work ethic. Hunter goes above and beyond each day to ensure our residents receive safe, compassionate, and attentive care.

She takes great pride in her work, always making sure medications are administered accurately and on time while maintaining a positive and respectful attitude toward residents, families, and coworkers. Hunter is a team player who is always willing to step in and help others when needed, contributing to a supportive and efficient work environment.

Outside of work, Hunter enjoys playing disc golf and has won multiple first-place tournaments.

Her dedication, reliability, and commitment to quality care make her a valued member of our team. We appreciate all that she does and are proud to recognize her as Employee of the Month!

This week, we would like to say THANK YOU, to our human resources team for all that they do!

In healthcare, our human resources team is critical in recruitment and staffing, regulatory compliance, onboarding, training, employee retention and wellness, benefits and compensation, culture, and performance management. HR staff act as a bridge between leadership and frontline staff, crucial for managing a 24/7 environment, and for maintaining workforce stability and reducing burnout.

Maria Court residents had a fantastic time celebrating St. Patrick's Day! 🍀 They were surprised with a special visit from a festive leprechaun and enjoyed fun games like Lucky BINGO, Roll the Rainbow, and Lucky Dominoes. The celebration also included delicious treat like green-frosted cookies and green sherbet floats!

A big thank you to ACG Hospice and Rivercross Hospice for providing both the extra helping hands and refreshing goodies that made the day even more special!

Extending a BIG THANK YOU to all of the social workers and social services designees, this month, we celebrate you!

Kendall Caudle is our social services director at Villa Maria, and her role not only supports the psychosocial, emotional, and mental well-being of residents, ensuring their quality of life is maintained alongside their physical health, but also acts as an intermediary between residents, families, and staff, assisting with adjustments to care, rights advocacy, and discharge planning. Thank you Kendall for all that you do for our residents! You are A-mazing!

It's Long-term Care Administrator's Week, and our team had a bit of fun decorating Angelica's office! A few extra sticky notes (just in case), a pop of color for Spring, some reorganization (because we know she likes her office just right), and a bit of caution tape (because her team is a little too much fun sometimes)! In all reality, Angelica brings a lot to the table at Villa Maria and we are excited for the opportunity to say thank you!
