🧒💙 Now Hiring - Part-time Pediatric Urgent Care Support Staff

Saturday and Sunday 11am - 7pm = 16 hours

Do you love working with kids and families in a fast‑paced, team‑focused environment? Our Pediatric Urgent Care is looking for compassionate, dependable Support Staff to join our growing team in Muncie!

This position is well suited for individuals seeking part‑time hours and an opportunity to earn supplemental income in a fast‑paced pediatric care setting.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, while consulting with center staff, patients, families, and the general public to ensure coordinated, high‑quality care
Maintain a professional, welcoming, and customer‑focused environment at all times
Answer incoming telephone calls promptly, schedule and reschedule appointments for primary care and behavioral health providers, take messages, and appropriately route calls
Collect patient co‑pays and payments at registration and perform general cashiering duties
Retrieve medical records from outside providers and create medical record charts for new patients
Maintain a working knowledge of Release of Information (ROI) procedures in accordance with Meridian policies and procedures
Ensure patient information is handled accurately and confidentially in compliance with organizational standards

🌟 Get Your Move On! 🌟
A message from Dr. Lucille Kanjer Larson, Chief Pediatrician at Meridian Health Pediatrics.
Winter weather doesn’t have to slow your family down! Staying active is essential for keeping muscles strong — including the heart. Even a simple brisk walk can make the difference between a restful night’s sleep and a restless kiddo. If you head outdoors, remember to bundle up: gloves or mittens, warm socks and boots, and a cozy hat to protect little ears, fingers, and toes, which lose heat quickly.
When it’s too cold to be outside, there’s still plenty you can do indoors to keep bodies moving and spirits high. Try fun activities like:
💃 Marching in place to music
⭐ Jumping jacks
🏋️ Squats
🦵 Leg lifts
These simple movements don’t require much space — just 10–15 minutes can elevate heart rate, burn calories, and release feel‑good hormones that boost mood and energy. Doing these activities together is a great way to model healthy habits while enjoying safe, active family fun.
After your movement time, finish with a refreshing glass of water or milk — or warm up with tea or hot cocoa. ☕💙
