It may be April Fools’ Day... but when it comes to your health, there’s nothing funny about ignoring the signs.

Leg pain, swelling, or heaviness can be early indicators of vein disease. Taking them seriously today can prevent bigger problems tomorrow.

If something feels off, trust it and get it checked.

Dr. Michael Thorpe founded Indiana Vein Institute with a mission to serve the community he calls home. After completing years of surgical education and training across the country, he chose to bring his expertise back to East Central Indiana so patients wouldn’t have to travel far for specialized vein care.

When he’s not helping patients improve their circulation and comfort, Dr. Thorpe enjoys spending time outdoors—beekeeping, camping, and hunting. That balance of professional dedication and personal connection reflects the philosophy behind Indiana Vein Institute: expert care delivered with a personal touch.
