We're excited to partner with the Muncie YMCA to provide a space for pregnant individuals to come together to support one another and for education about pregnancy and motherhood.

When you are expecting a new baby it can be exciting, but it can also be scary and lonely at times. However you might be feeling about your pregnancy, surrounding yourself with other moms is one of the best things you can do for yourself.

Socialize and interact with local women in similar stages of pregnancy, and learn valuable information to prepare you for motherhood. Facilitated by a licensed mental health professional and Doctoral level student from the Ball State Counseling Practicum Clinic. This FREE program is made possible by the Delaware County Health Department.

The Big Idea uses food distributions to create an opportunity to connect school staff, families, career presenters, and local organizations to ultimately benefit the entire community. Caregivers, students, and school staff learn about ways to improve the social/emotional/wellness factors that positively impact a student’s learning environment.

After nearly a decade of leadership, Bryan Ayars, President and CEO of Open Door Health Services, has announced his intention to retire in 2026. Bryan has led the organization through tremendous growth, navigated the COVID-19 pandemic, celebrated Open Door’s 50th anniversary, and deepened our roots in the community through partnership and collaboration.

We are grateful for Bryan’s dedicated service to our patients, our community, and the Open Door team. He will continue to serve as CEO while the Open Door Board of Directors completes a national search and identifies his successor.
