You've probably heard of Dr. Wynde Ashman, she's been a part of our FVC family for quite a while seeing and treating patients and their vision needs. She's been a busy lady lately, leading our office in treatments with OptiLift and OptiLight!

"I've got floaters in my vision, should I be concerned?"

Maybe! For some, floaters can just be annoying little vision disturbances that seem to come or go, or might always be there but aren't as noticeable once you become used to them. However, sometimes they are indicative of a serious issue. And if you have onset floaters accompanied with flashes of light, it is imperative you address it as quickly as possible - the sooner a retinal issue is detected, the sooner it can be treated and the likelihood of permeant damage decreases.

Always call your doctor if you've had a sudden change in your vision - a delay in doing so can be detriment to your sight! Share this post to tell your friends!

Wearing your contact lenses inside out can cause discomfort, irritation, blurred vision, and/or the sensation of something being in your eye. If you find that your contacts are giving you a fit, double check they're in the correct way and "see" if that does the trick!

At some offices, you might be referred somewhere else if you're a sufferer of any sort of ocular disease such as glaucoma or macular degeneration. But if you're a patient of Dr. Alice McCaslin's, you can likely see her for it all!

Dr. McCaslin has quite a bit of experience managing ocular diseases, which all began as she completed residency at the Baltimore, Maryland, Veterans Affairs Hospital in 2019. Since then, she has been continuing that devoted care to her patients at Family Vision Care. ⭐️
