At our Dermatology Centers, we accept Medicare assignments and all private insurances. We file insurance claims for our patients. Finally, our staff is willing to work with patients to meet their financial obligations. Below is a brief description of medical and surgical services provided at our office:

*Medical treatment of skin diseases (psoriasis, eczema, acne, warts, moles, rashes, leg ulcers, etc.)

*Surgical treatment of skin cancer, abnormal moles, cysts, fatty tumors, ect.

*Mohs Surgery (specialty surgery for the treatment of skin cancer and very few Dermatology offices offer this service)

*Skin Allergies, occupation skin disease and workman's compensation cases

*Diseases of the hair, skin and nails

*Phototherapy (light treatment therapy) for psoriasis and other skin diseases

*Sexually transmitted and other infectious skin diseases

Basal Cell Carcinoma (BCC)
▪️What is it? Basal cell carcinomas (BCCs) are abnormal, uncontrolled growths that arise from the skin’s basal cells in the outermost layer of skin (epidermis).

▪️Where is it usually found? These cancers most often develop on skin areas typically exposed to the sun, especially the face, ears, neck, scalp, shoulders and back.

▪️What causes it? Most BCCs are caused by the combination of intermittent, intense exposure and cumulative, long-term exposure to UV radiation from the sun.

▪️How many people get it? BCC is the most common form of skin cancer, with approximately 3.6 million cases diagnosed in the United States each year.

▪️How serious is it? BCCs can be locally destructive if not detected and treated early. Occasionally these cancers metastasize (spread); and in very rare instances they can be fatal.
