Didn’t have a replacement but my healing process was probably quicker than it would have been let alone the meniscus was healing prior to surgery

The American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS) say that it can take up to 3 months to return to most activities after a knee replacement, and 6 months to a year before your knee is as strong and resilient as it can be. According to the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, many people experience moderate to severe swelling in the first few days or weeks after surgery and mild to moderate swelling for 3 to 6 months after surgery.

The first picture is from my operative report 10/29, the second picture is from my MRI 9/23. Take notice in the MRI there were 2 tears in the meniscus, but in the Op report there were none. At my post op appointment yesterday, my surgeon told us that the meniscus tears had healed themselves.

I had been pulsing my knee intermittently prior to the MRI as well as between MRI and surgery.
